Rev. Dr. Julia's Calling林牧師領受的呼召Agape Christian Center bears it name by adopting Julia's vision on October 27, 1999 of the two bright crosses each carved with a large Chinese letter "Love" at its center and a scripture at its light background , 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 on one cross and Romans 12:9-21 on the other. Julia’s vision started with a complete dark background, and the light came to break it into two: the top light and the bottom dark background. Then the two crosses rose, one after the other, from the lower dark to the upper light background and stayed for three seconds before disappeared. The cross with the Chinese letter “Love” became our logo. Both scriptures describe the nature of God's love in great details. Jesus is the only man that has lived his life in accordance with these two scriptures. He was with God and all things were made through him. He was the Son of God. He became flesh and dwelled among the mankind nearly 2015 years ago (Jn 1:1-3,14) in Israel. At the age of 30, He was water baptized like man but the Holy Spirit descended from the heaven and lived in him. He preached the Kingdom of God for 3 &1/2 years, and redeemed the mankind by bearing all our sins and being crucified to death on the Cross. He rose again three days later and has been given all the authority in heaven and on earth (Mt 28:18). He is God (1 Jn 4:9-10). Dear Brother/Sister, let us love one another, for love comes from God. No one has ever seen God, but His One and Only Son Jesus who is at the Father's side, has made him known (Jn1:18). If we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. (1 Jn 4:7,12,15-16). Jesus Christ laid down his life for us, we ought to love one another (Jn 13:34) not with words or tongue but with actions and in truth (1 Jn 3:16 & 18; Mt 28:18-20).
